Renowned for its global distribution of truck and van parts, K&M Global is delighted to announce its remarkable success at a prestigious national awards ceremony.
Since 2017, we have strategically positioned ourselves as a major player in the international trading of truck and van components, encompassing various makes and models. Recently though, the company has diversified its offerings to include plant and machinery.
Operating from a vast site in Dobcross, K&M Global specialises in professional import and export services, as well as providing secure fleet vehicle disposal solutions.
This year, the company proudly participated in the ATF Professional Vehicle Recycling Awards, hosted at the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire. The event was doubly rewarding for K&M Global, clinching the Export/Import Company Award and the Medium Vehicle Recycling Company Award.
An Uncategorised Award
Reflecting on the achievement, Jane, our Finance Director, expressed enthusiasm for the Export/Import accolade and emphasized the lack of categorisation by company size. This type of award ceremony usually differentiates between small, medium, and large companies based on staffing numbers. That is why, K&M Global, having fallen into the medium category for the Vehicle Recycling award, found the unclassified Export/Import recognition particularly gratifying.
Jane further commented, “We were very proud to have won that award. Many people perhaps do not appreciate what happens in Saddleworth, but we are a busy company. We probably send out five or six containers a week internationally – either complete vehicles or engines or parts. Most of our turnover is in export sales, but we also supply van parts to the national market.”
These annual awards, presented by ATF Professional and Auto Recycling World, celebrate excellence in vehicle recycling across the UK. ATF Professional and Auto Recycling World are prominent platforms that disseminate news and information to the UK and global vehicle recycling community.
